Getting to NIT

  • by Air

    NIT can be quite easily accessed from overseas if you go through Central Japan International Airport, Centrair. Public transportation is available from the airport to downtown Nagoya. In our case it is recommended that you take Meitetsu Line from the airport to Kanayama and then change trains to JR Chuo Line to the next station Tsurumai. About five min walk from the station. In total, you'll get to NIT within an hour from the airport.

  • by Bullet Train

    NIT is also very conveniently accessed from other major cities, Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka if you take a bullet train Tokaido Shinkansen. It takes one hour and forty min from Tokyo to Nagoya, 35 min from Kyoto to Nagoya, or 50 min from Shin-Osaka to Nagoya if you take Tokaido Shinkansen. When you arrive at Nagoya Station, change trains to JR Chuo Line to get to Tsurumai in 7 min. It is only about five min walk from Tsurumai Station to NIT.
